1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to 1Link ("1Link", "Platform", "we", "us", or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the 1Link web application, API services, smart redirection links, QR code generation services, custom subdomains, and related software (collectively, the "Service").

By creating an account, generating or routing links, connecting a custom domain, or utilizing any feature of 1Link, you represent that you are at least 18 years old (or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction), legally capable of entering into binding contracts, and agree to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Refund & Cancellation Policy. If you are entering into these Terms on behalf of an entity, you represent and warrant that you have authority to bind that entity.

2. Description of Service

1Link provides an API-driven, device-aware smart link routing infrastructure. The Service inspects incoming HTTP request headers (specifically device User-Agent signatures) to dynamically redirect mobile and desktop visitors to target destinations, including:

• Apple iOS Devices: Apple App Store links, TestFlight links, or verified Universal Links.
• Google Android Devices: Google Play Store listings or verified Android App Links.
• Desktop & Fallback Devices: Web landing pages, responsive web apps, or custom maintenance URLs.
• QR Code Generation: Instant scannable vector/raster QR codes synced with live smart links.
• Analytics & Quotas: Click activity monitoring, 7-day timeline graphs, device breakdown counters, and hit threshold alerts.

3. User Accounts & Authentication

To access the dashboard, manage smart links, and configure subscriptions, you must create an account using either our secure Email One-Time Password (OTP) verification or Google OAuth.

You agree to maintain the security and confidentiality of your credentials. You are solely responsible for all activities and redirection traffic generated through your account. If you suspect unauthorized access or security compromise, you must notify 1Link immediately at [email protected].

4. Subscription Plans, Pricing & Lemon Squeezy Billing

1Link offers 3 subscription tiers: Starter (Free), Professional, and Enterprise. Plan limits, link quotas, and monthly hit thresholds are published on our Pricing Page.

Paid subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) according to the billing interval selected at checkout. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled prior to the renewal date. You may manage or cancel your subscription at any time via your self-service Customer Portal.

5. Acceptable Use Policy & Prohibited Conduct

You agree to use 1Link exclusively for lawful promotional, routing, and deep-linking purposes. You explicitly agree NOT to use the platform to:

• Create smart links or QR codes pointing to malware, phishing sites, ransomware, spyware, or credential-harvesting tools.
• Distribute counterfeit products, unlicensed pharmaceuticals, illegal drugs, or fraudulent financial schemes.
• Deceive or mislead mobile users regarding the nature, publisher, or safety of the destination app or website.
• Artificially inflate redirection counts or simulate automated clicks using botnets, scraping scripts, or headless proxies.
• Circumvent, tamper with, or exploit monthly hit quota limits or system threshold caps.
• Impersonate any person, company, or trademarked application without explicit legal authorization.

Violations of this Acceptable Use Policy will result in immediate link deactivation, permanent account termination, and reporting to relevant law enforcement agencies without refund eligibility.

6. Traffic Quotas, Threshold Alerts & Fallback Behaviors

Each pricing tier includes a specified monthly hit allocation (e.g., 1,000 for Starter, 50,000 for Pro, 1,000,000 for Enterprise). Hit counters reset on the first day of each calendar month.

1Link allows account holders to configure alert thresholds (defaulting to 80% of quota). When your links reach their threshold or hard cap, 1Link executes the automated fallback policy configured in your Settings:

1. Web Fallback Destination: Default redirection to your web fallback URL.
2. Custom Fallback Destination: Redirection to a global holding or maintenance URL specified by you.
3. Quota Limit Notice Page: Displaying a friendly, non-destructive traffic quota notification.

7. Custom Subdomains & Verified App Deep Linking

Pro and Enterprise users may configure branded subdomains (e.g., go.yourdomain.com) and verified deep linking assets (apple-app-site-association and assetlinks.json).

You warrant that you own or have verified authorization to use any subdomain, Apple Team ID, Apple Bundle ID, Android Package Name, and SHA-256 certificate fingerprints entered into 1Link. You agree to indemnify 1Link against any trademark, copyright, or app store policy infringement claims arising from your domain or deep linking configurations.

8. Intellectual Property Rights

1Link retains all right, title, and interest in and to the Service, including the user interface, proprietary redirection engine, database architectures, graphics, and documentation. You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, copy, or create derivative works of our software.

You retain full ownership of all destination URLs, marketing creative, app listings, and brand trademarks you configure within the Service. You grant 1Link a worldwide, royalty-free license solely to transmit, process, and redirect incoming web traffic to your specified targets.

9. Service Availability, Uptime & Maintenance

We employ distributed cloud architectures designed to provide 99.9% uptime for core smart redirection endpoints (/l/{slug}). However, you acknowledge that redirection velocity and store availability depend on third-party infrastructure beyond our control, including the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, telecommunication carriers, and your destination web servers.

1Link reserves the right to perform scheduled maintenance during low-traffic periods. We will make reasonable efforts to announce planned maintenance in advance.

10. Termination & Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time with zero penalty through your account settings or Lemon Squeezy portal. Details on refund eligibility and subscription wind-down are set forth in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

1Link may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you breach these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or fail to satisfy outstanding subscription charges after repeated notices.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, 1Link disclaims all warranties, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that smart redirection will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every future mobile browser or device agent.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall 1Link, its directors, employees, partners, or suppliers be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, advertising expenditures, goodwill, or business interruption, resulting from your use of or inability to use the Service.

1Link's total cumulative liability arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the greater of $50.00 USD or the total amounts paid by you to 1Link in the three (3) months preceding the incident giving rise to liability.

13. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless 1Link and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or in any way connected with: (a) your access to or use of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) the content, products, or services distributed via your destination links; or (d) your infringement of any third-party intellectual property or privacy rights.

14. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which 1Link is registered, without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of law. Any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms shall be resolved through good-faith informal negotiations for at least thirty (30) days prior to initiating formal arbitration or court proceedings.
